The 2017 King County Trans Resource & Referral Guide (“The Guide”) serves as a comprehensive resource for health, HIV/AIDS, mental health, disability, housing resources, legal rights, and more for trans individuals and their families in King County. It is available online and as a print booklet at community centers and social spaces in Seattle.

Transgender and gender non-conforming communities experience disproportionate levels of poverty, homelessness, violence, and unemployment in the US. The Guide centered the needs of trans people at intersections of multiple oppressions- trans people of color and trans people with disabilities.

Project Date: July 2017
